A stupid mistake on my part put us out of contention for the win in this race.
I got pole for the team which is quite a big of an advantage with these cars, so I was able to manage the gap to Boris behind quite well with the gap going between 0.5 - 3.5 seconds.

The plan was for me to go as far as I could so Joona could go all out in the second part of the race. In the last 3-4 laps I got REALLY slow due to tyre wear, but when I saw @Boris Vakholsky pitting I was sure he would have issues with fuel later on. Also @Tom Kapusta came very close at the end, but I came into the pits with 0.5l left in the tank which was perfect. However, due to the hectic laps just before the pit stops, I changed all the pit stop settings but forgot to setup the driver change. So on the next I came back in to hand over to @Joona Karimaa wich cost us about 15-20 seconds and put us in 4th.

Joona was able to do a solid and mistake-free stint to pick up the pieces from Boris' problems and even got close to snatching 2nd from Tom in the last lap.
I feel very sorry for that stupid mistake, but I couldn't just do the second stint as well as Joona had been practising for this race as well and it's a team effort for URT.

Many thanks to @Jimmi Allison for running this series. I think it's a good addition to the calendar to get people up to speed getting out of SRCA and there are some very good and fast drivers here as well. Shame the grid wasn't what we all hoped for, especially in this last race, but hey, it can only get better.
Another good thing is that for some reason, in this series, no-one really had any issues with freezes, driver swaps not working, etc, etc so everyone had a fair chance of fighting for what they were worth.

I'm happy for URT to snatch 3rd in the championship after a disastrous round in Suzuka and I have to thank my team mates @Greg Metcalf and @Joona Karimaa to make the multi-driver team experience that much better.

@Miguel Santiago Carou I didn't have issues with a fuel at that point. I made bad decision about early pit-stop for win some time. I thought I can lower mixture, but suddenly a key didn't work. Anyway, nice driving, dude. First hour was relly tense. We were moving at the same pace. I was close, but couldnt realize any attack.

Yeah, I was sweating like a pig, especially at the end of the stint.
Good driving indeed. The lap time drop-off from the tyres was MASSIVE yesterday :D

Shoulda, woulda, coulda... :D Seems like everyone has a story of "if I had done this, or not made this mistake, things could've been different". And I have one too :p

I had some spins and semi-spins that cost me time. And that's mainly due to lack of practice and partly due to not managing to make the car very stable on the exit of T7. Also somehow slowed down too much when entering pits and almost stalled! :D Some kind of a brain fart :p Quickly looking at the numbers they all cost me around 20 seconds minimum. And I feel like I was the fastest GT300 during the first hour. Just couldn't find a way past @Tom Kapusta and then I dropped back after a spin. Especially toward the end of stint I was really fast. Similar story after the stop but @Joona Karimaa was probably a bit faster than I was :)

Apologies to @Mickael Folcher for contact in the hairpin braking. I got sideways and just tried to hang on to it and as you were right next to me I clearly nudged you and then you spun exiting the corner which seemed unrelated. But still, sorry.

@Linus Lundvall Don't think I did anything wrong on the first lap, but could've given slightly more room I guess. Just unfortunate that you spun there :(

And a similar situation with @Tom Kapusta on the final lap. This time I was on the inside and definitely couldn't have given more room and you squeezed me a little bit and that made you lose control :/

Did you overheat your front tires too???
i feeling the same, but im sure its not the car, i didnt understeand how to setup the car for be stable and fast...
for driving alone its ok and fun to dirve this car, but when you try to push hard to get a race pace then your tires become to heat..
and the you start to feel the understeery and asking yourself WTF i should change!!!! :ROFLMAO:
thats the good thing about simulators, cars are much different and sometimes you found your car , and sometimes the devil car!!!

if someone wants to send me a good setup (GT500) for toban, i will appreciate that, i want to see where i screw it...

It is a bit tricky chassis to set up with neutral balance. For my driving style anyway.

@Tero Dahlberg Sorry for the somewhat late reply. Left for Geneva as soon as the race was over and just got home. I think you are a better judge of the incident than me :) I am still very new to simracing and I still had a lot of fun later in the race!!

Is there any stewarding notes for this one, or were we all clean as a whistle as always? :)
