hii @Jimmi Allison just checkin that after we signup and are forced to select a car Gt for example, we can change the model in the 1st Livery submision like always?

You have never been able to. I have done it within some minutes or even hours I can’t remember when a team made a mistake.
Once teams starts to sign up I start to prep the next steps. Such as mod, standings, sheets and all of what I use for the season.
I acknowledge the corvette was added a bit later. Is that the reason you ask?

Yeah, i dont mind opening up for a change to Corvette within a couple of days, it was introduced late. And yeah BMW will be heavily reviewed with this kind of sign up

Hey @Jimmi Allison if we sign up for HyperCar and it is oversubscribed, is there an option to record LMP2 as a secondary? Or will we have to take the risk that we may not get into either?

There are enough entries to put 15 LMP2 cars per division.
D1 could be 10-15-20. And it remains to be seen if 45 cars will also be accepted in D2, and what the participation would be per category.

Thing is, things change during sign up, i have to adapt to how things play out - these numbers are not "hardcoded" and will be somewhat flexible. I am not going to reject 10 entries of LMP2´s in favour of waiting for LMH entries to sign up. That is why i have posted the latest post in sign up giving some guidance there, just like i wont wait days without end to get x entries.
No one is guaranteed, but we can ask for teams to move sure.

Is weird this past rf update or smth saves the window files opaque, like u see the dds and the alpha ok but when previewing and playing the transparent bits look solid, hapenned with the oreca, and before with the mazda mod window files, i dunno if they need to be saved differently cause it worked before! any ideas?

Window is saved as DXT5, i can send you the previously used dds file if you need it, then you can compare.

It is possible that there are not many drivers with the requirement to drive hypercars, and that is why there are so many LMP2 entries. It will be a shame not to have 3 categories in DIV 2 . Maybe if the rules were relaxed in DIV2 it could be more balanced and we could enjoy the 3 categories in both divisions. Is there any chance this could happen, Jimmi?

Short answer no
I dont see a reason too. Last season the LMH class was really not that great in D2, numbers went down, a bit too many crashes and complaints.
Now we have even less restrictions that we started with, so there is plenty of entries that could have gone LMH - its not just licenses its also some drivers prefer to drive LMP2 or GT3 over the LMH cars.

Is it possible to maybe create classes based on the licenses? I'm speaking about seperating between Pro and Pro/Am for example. Would be a cool feature for the future in my opinion.

Maybe we consider to switch HY to LMP2...
We have chosen HY for a new challenge but above all have more competitors normally with the repartition announced before the sign in.
Unfortunately, too many drivers take LMP2 and now, we are only 2-3 teams small teams against big teams. Such a shame...
