VEC Introduction to Season 17

I've noticed a couple of times the livery in mirror had a strange glow or something. But when car passed it looked ok.

Seems to be you, did you check the broadcast to see if that was any different - unless you only talk about mirrors which i then doubt is a thing in general :)
Yeh it only is in mirrors, so can not see that in broadcast, My teammates have the same issue. Sometimes it also flickers a bit. Like there is shade and sunlight changing the view

It could be related to Spa i hear, but no idea and nothing i can do anything about :) Lets see if it happens on other tracks

@Jimmi Allison I don't understand the reasoning behind doing the promotion process right after the first race. If it needs to be completed before Le Mans, why not handle it then? Now luck and randomness are playing a much larger role. Also, could we have the logic behind the entire promotion process clearly outlined in the rules? That way you don't have to find the changed procedure in test race thread after the race. Any changes will be transparent and reflected in the rule change announcements. In the past, factors other than just race results were considered for promotion, but it seems that after Round 1, only the results were taken into account. had the procedure changed at some point along the way? Was the pre-test race still factored in, or was it solely based on Round 1? If not, it would have been fairer to include the pre-test race results when making the promotion decisions.

Anyone heard anything about a season 18? I saw that last year it was already announced by this date?

Standings are official
Managers of #17 CMT GOTeam Racing, #44 Hyperion Esports and #82 RAFA Esports team please provide drivers addresses in contact staff.
Also please note to be eligible for trophies these drivers should have participated in 2 or more races under this entry.

Massive congratulations to these teams, you had what it took to become winner of your class in Virtual Endurance Championship season 18 and enter the "hall of fame" in this long going championship.

To all of the drivers
From the very first lap in 2008 to now some 17 years later you have brought passion, dedication and sportsmanship. Regardless of opinions we have all shared the common passion of simracing and the niche within that niche called endurance.
While different opinions can be discussed, most have been civil about not agreeing with each other. Being passionate about something gives you an understanding of what I and other people that i have worked with over the years (Tomas Beha, Steven Karlsson, Edward TJ, Shawn Jacobs and lately Jelle Binsbergen).
We have had the same passion, the drive that makes these things tick.

Season 17 Unfortuantly was a season where i had to miss a broadcast, which i really beat myself up about. I take this quite serious even though "its just a game"

Thank you for the memories of Season 17.

What comes next you say, well there is a reason for me being quiet these last few weeks, been working on some ideas. Won't be long now...

Hi Jimmi, any news about the next season? There's a steam sale if it's on LMU.
