yeah it won’t help doing that on this thread. The manager should add the driver to the line up on SMS and then through the manager tab here add the driver.

Without wanting to get into controversy, I think it wouldn't have been a bad idea to have warned us before starting the registration process that participation in the VEC would entail additional costs beyond registration.

We already know that Studio397 is trying to monetize absolutely everything related to LMU, but given how organized you are at SRC, this should have been anticipated and communicated to all participants.

I also think that having to subscribe to RC+ should be added to the instructions in the "livery submission" thread so there are no more doubts about how to upload skins to LMU.

That said, I hope this season is as fun as it looks like it will be with the new simulator. Thanks to the administrators for all the work, and we'll see you on the track.

I mean I don’t even know what the servers will cost - I bet they will be more expensive because they will let us believe the more clients will cost more server bandwidth - which is obviously nonesense, server only sends position of cars so it’s very little.

I just recently created a team so never even did that before season started I would assume managers would have done this before me, you probably also need a subscription to Photoshop, internet - sorry there is many things that we do not control including what LMU does. If we did it would be a different story :) an endurance game released in 1.0 without driver swaps… I mean doh..
Anyways there is many things we do not control and many things we yet are learning about the game and how much have changed (not necessarily for the better) since last season.

Hopefully it makes sense.
 
I have some questions how to do the livery submit.
First of all maybe I did not find it, but it is not possible to assign a number to a line up is it?
It is only possible for the whole team, but I don´t want that the main team have some random numbers.
Next thing if it is like this it is not possible to name a new team like it is in named in VEC "Seawolf Netrace" is already gone (main team) and the Motorsport I have to name the line up because of restricted numbers of cases. so I can only name one line up like this (and my main team have to be renamed).

So as a workaround I would name a second team Seawolf NetRace VEC and the line ups Motorsport 1, 2, 3 but thats only possible for the Hypers the GTs need a different name.

A number cannot be assigned to a specific lineup, as the race number is assigned to a specific skin. Numbers are chosen by selecting a vehicle from the lineup before entering the server.

In our case, the team is called as in SRC and the lineup is called "VEC #292"

I cannot really understand what you want to tell me?
If you call your line up "VEC #292" and you have your normal numbers for your team like 45,46,47 for example your line ups team name is #292 but on your car is a different number. Also you can only assgin 3 numbers we have 5 line ups in VEC. So that does not even work at all. Thanks for your answer but I think you also need more information like me from the admins how to do it.
 
Honestly, as a simple player, there's no point in racking your brains over it at the moment, as there's no information on how hosted teams will work, etc.
 
Hey SRC,

If we wanted to update liveries before or during the season, do we just follow the same steps as we did for the submission? Not that I am planning on updating it every week, but in typical fashion, as soon as I hit the submit button, I realised that there are some tweaks I could have worked on better. :D

As long as you do it to us, yes - but we need it in time to confirm and approve. If changed and not done at VEC there will be a penalty close to DQ incoming :)
