I checked the rules but i still don't know if in Div1 we have to go single or double file at the end of sector 2 :/

Both divisions follow their starting procedure as per rules, please check before asking.
Both divisions should go 150 km/h in sector 1, 120 in sector 2 and by the end of sector 2, slow down to pitlimiter speed (80) and go single file.

4.3.2.1 D1: Drivers shall maintain a safe but reasonable distance to other drivers, following the grid position, double file. Green flag will be called by the game

Note that a small update has been pushed, one car was out of order in the pitlane - due to the different amount of cars. See briefing to understand the pit vs garage placements.

Note on the messages that the plugin sends.
It has been working in all my tests, but i have a feeling that rf2 dedi gets stressed after that last update (months and months ago) caused this issue.
I´ll try and see if i can send a message, but managers, please understand it is up to teams themselfes to actually manage the timing.
Just as a heads up - i´ll do my best, but eventually it falls back on drivers(or a team member) keeping track of timing.

No gap between classes on race start?

No gap between classes on race start?
No, not in the rules and not in the briefing.
Rules state: reasonable distance to other drivers, but not anything specific between classes.
rFactor 2 controls the formation lap and can give out penalties for driving too slow and for not staying in line, these penalties will not be removed. So be careful.

Give me one reason to make the start single file and like D2 :) in other words this is a one chance to prove D1 can handle this type of start, if not we are going back to D2 starting procedure.

Briefing:
NOTE: LMH/LMP2 garages are located in the sprint area of the track and GT3 garages are on the endurance pitlane. This is to avoid anyone getting more laps in qualifying. HOWEVER also note pitboxes are normally setup.
Final note: when on practice server - you can't be 100% sure of the garages if there is more than 2 drivers of the same entry online.

Race starts:
Both divisions follow their starting procedure as per rules, please check before asking.
Both divisions should go 150 km/h in sector 1, 120 in sector 2 and by the end of sector 2, slow down to pitlimiter speed (80).
Please make a note of who you are starting behind and do not overtake on formation lap.

Reminder:
Review the rules please. Your in game name need to be the same as forum name and what you have been signed up with.

Stream:
As you can see i have linked the stream for Division 1.
So some good and bad news
Good news is that D2 will have a stream this season, bad news is - due to lack in stock i just got the pc yesterday. It is installing windows now, but i need to be realistic. I can't make it for todays race, i then have to install and setup rf2, streaming software and make sure hte overlay etc is synced internally.
So again focus on the good news, you will have a broadcast from next race.

Hi, we are happy to have finished these 8 hours of Spa, something that was not easy.
We had some collisions with LMP2s who perhaps thought that the GTs were ghost cars, in total we accumulated more than 700 seconds of repairs over the entire race.
We would like to thank the fair play of the other competitors in GT and also of some LMP2s.
We thank the organizers for the work accomplished.
This first race made us understand that we have a lot of work if we want to compete one day with the best, thank you to our opponents who push us to surpass ourselves.
See you in Sao Paulo, until then take care of yourself;)

My sincerest apologies to Pepe Calvo for the contact at the Fagnes bend. I was surprised by the trajectory but I was coming in a little too fast I think. Sorry about that :(

I'm sorry to hear that your first race ended up in so much repair time. - I really hope it wasn't us who caused it (248 GlamRacing)

This was our first race in an LMP2 and there is definitely a HUGE learning curve going from a GT3 to LMP2, and i that we have driven both classes i understand a bit better both classes.

We did have an small incident with one team where one of our drivers thought he had more space to pass a GT3 but sadly no, thankfully nothing happened them and only us - but i as a team manager went straight to that team to say sorry.

I hope that next race will go better - and less cars will DNF.

Till next race stay awesome!

The Oreca is not the easiest car out there at all, especially when slowing down the car, but it's the most rewarding I've driven lately. Don't give up and keep going, laptimes will come soon.
