VEC Race 3 - 4 hours of Bahrain

Second race i a row where i cannot avoid a statoinary car in front of me:confused:. (484 seconds repair:thumbsup: (y))
I know there are no redflag rules, but imo shit like this should be restarted.
No fun for so many people who get wrecked without beëing able to do anything about it before the race has even started(n) :thumbsdown:.
Hope this mess isn't without consequenses.

Anyway, hopefully more luck in the next races. We have speed to fight for top 5 so atleast that is positive.

In our case we had problems in the race when the driver who entered did so with 5 laps left before the relay, but it took him about 10 minutes to complete the charge. I had to stop on the back straight waiting for the circuit and drivers to finish loading, losing many positions and time.

In my case, today was the first time that the program gave me scares and slowdowns. I hope it is as a result of the strong storms we are experiencing in the north of Spain.

Later, after an incident involving my partner with the car being damaged, he went in to repair it and they did not make the repair, which made it even more difficult for him to finish the race. It is clear that today was not our day either. We have your Trace in case it is considered appropriate to send it for analysis. It is the second race in which it has happened to us that the car is not repaired at a stop. On the other occasion they didn't put the wheel on us. At least this time we managed to get the car to the finish line.

There are red flag rules and they are quite clear, never in a million years will i restart a race because x or y got damage and because of poor driving skills from others. Restart will just mean you can do it all over again and again and again, we might as well turn off damage while we are at it. So nope, never in VEC. Sorry if you do not agree but that is not something i want to introduce.
 
Different emotions for RFRO Simsport today...

The #230 dominated the D2 race from start to finish, well done to the guys, perfectly managed race.

First race in D1 for our #239 and what can I say... Probably some kind of hazing or something to help us learn the ropes... But to be 5 laps down before even crossing the starting line with a start not worthy of what we expected to experience in D1... What can I say? Well done to the guys who, in spite of everything, kept going right to the end of the race, despite their enormous frustration...

I went to SP to check how early the green flag drops as I forgot to do that earlier this week + to test the fps with full AI grid, I thought I had time to leave and rejoin before proto qualy but guess I reacted too slow. Wont happen again.

unfortunately electricity drop...anyway can someone explain to me what happened during procedure? Several prototypes spun in formation lap and absolut chaos up to S/F straight? Please what we need more for normal start than runway like that?
 
Incredible... from a poor qualification, we came out with a solid race in the top 10. It's a shame about the 2 pitstops, I can't remember the LMP2, but it would take a bit more thought to fix the car for the pit, completely disregarding those behind you. Twice in a row crossing paths to block the exit... oh well, if you arrive first, you should at least consider that the one in the pit starts earlier ‍♂️... Seconds that probably cost us 2 secure positions, since from P6 to P10, it's about 10 seconds…

I think something went wrong with a Visceral car (can't remember who, but he was right beside me), i saw him braking hard and he got punted, but not much after that, i'm guessing pedals issues but i need to see the replay
 
I have few crash on transition between Practice and Quali and in quali, did i have to justify it? Because i just don't know why it's happen

I have a question regarding the repair times, in this case for LMP2.

The damage in the first image has a repair time of 371 seconds and the second one has a repair time of 624 seconds.
Is it just unlucky that the repair time for the 2nd case is so much higher or is there a reason behind it?
