Division 1-2 Race schedule:
11:00 - Race servers will be open (ensure only STARTING driver is on the server)
11:45 - All cars must be on the server - and stay there
12:00 - Qualifying
12:00-12:20 - GT3 Qualifying
12:25-12:45 - LMH/LMP2 Qualifying
12:50 - Qualifying session ends
12:50 - Warmup
12:55 - Start of formation lap (3 minutes added to race time for manual formation lap)

Race schedule times are in CET/CEST whatever is being used in Copenhagen at the time of the race.
 
Briefing:
NOTE: LMH/LMP2 garages are located in the sprint area of the track and GT3 garages are on the endurance pitlane. This is to avoid anyone getting more laps in qualifying. HOWEVER also note pitboxes are normally setup - this means you will have the same "spot" as previous races.
Final note: when on practice server - you can't be 100% sure of the garages if there is more than 2 drivers of the same entry online.

Race starts:
  • Both divisions will follow 4.3.2.2 Drivers shall maintain a safe but reasonable distance to other drivers, following each other in a single file based on starting position, green flag when YOU cross the s/f line.
  • Both divisions should go 150 km/h in sector 1, 120 in sector 2 and by the end of sector 2, slow down to pitlimiter speed (80) and go single file.
  • Please make a note of who you are starting behind and do not overtake on formation lap.

00:05:40 - T Blumschein loses the car going up Raidillon. After the LMP2 field passes, he rejoins in the path of leading GT3s, taking all 3 out.

00:06:08 - P Ahonen overtakes 3 cars during the C80 countdown.

00:06:15 - S Loos overtakes 1 car during the C80 countdown.

00:48:33 - P Ahonen might have touched the LMP2 car because it overtakes into the chicane.

00:57:13 - A Asiain outbrakes himself into the bus stop. Hits P v Ark, and spins him

00:57:52 - On the run to Eau Rouge, M Hemmingsen blocks C Kianek who is about to pass him. Martin hasn't received a blue flag for this as they are on the same lap yet it is a block

Driver have now recieved several blocking penalties - if reported next race, a new license test will be needed.

01:03:25 - N Lemoine fails to anticipate the speed of A Asiain who is side by side with a GT3 and makes light contact with him. This causes a huge weight transfer on the front wheels and he spins.

01:13:21 - R Delorme fails to slow the car down enough to safely enter the pitlane. He crosses the pit entry line and goes in the path of a GT3, proceeding to make contact.

02:10:07 - M Korkiakoski has enough overlap to claim the corner, but L Martino is still on the outside. For the second part of the chicane, he does not leave enough space for L Martino as the roles are reversed, and proceeds to squeeze him.

02:11:59 - P Ahonen turns in and P Pennimpede might make contact

16.5.3 Drivers abusing the IRR process may be subject to penalty.
We have warned this several times now, do not post incident reports where nothing happens. If you see a driver that repeatily does not behave, let us know but when teams just post these kind of incident reviews you take away time that could be used on actual incidents that matters. Enough!

02:19:20 - P Pennimpede ignored blue flags for more than half a lap.

05:37:25 - C Rigo is alongside A Asiain for the first part of the bus stop, but at the turning point of the 2nd part, he doesn't have enough overlap to claim the apex.

05:40:15 - C Rigo turns in at the normal point, ignoring that there is a car alongside. A Asiain makes very light contact and C Rigo spins. However between last and this incident the driving was a bit over the top therefor

Race starts: We will use the same start procedure at Daytona - if this improves over the next races we can consider ending the season with a normal rolling start.
Overtaking: Be predictable, not only slower classes, but also the faster. Don't take away the normal racing line, have a little patience and overtake on the inside instead of this nonsense where you force your way through.

Is it possible to change the starting time for the practice server ? Because when i started the session it was 8am and it was dark.

Yeah of course, didn't think about that. I have set raceday in december. So i guess it does not take long until sun is up. Adjusted to start at 10am thanks @Nicolas Lemoine for understanding :)
 
Do not host our content on your servers. We want to be in control who actually has this content as it is not base content. Its a simple rule - you might not agree with it - but then you shouldn't have signed up.
We go through great deal of work to get our servers up and ready for everyone to use, when people then do not care about our rules it is quite annoying. One team has been warned earlier this week and now another this morning. Guys, i am getting alerts when VEC content is going up on servers. Anything that is called VEC_

1.12 Any content SRC release will only be allowed on SRC servers, do not host our car updates, track updates or any other updates on your own server.
1.12.1 Any breach of the rule will have serious consequences of the team doing this.

You know who you are - stop doing it or you are gone from the entry list.
 
On that possitive note, servers are going offline for an hour or so. Maintenance and updates to mod
 
Any chance you can look into the cut detection at Pouhon? The game gives an orange cut even if significant time is lost :(
 
Jimmy, you're right... I don't want to start unnecessary arguments... but if I wanted to try out strategies in optimal conditions with my teammates, how could I do that? 9 times out of 10, the server is in conditions that have nothing to do with the race... at night, or with temperatures completely off... If I wanted to create a server with only my team members, is that possible?

Thats slightly late just after an update isen't it. I need to see some video though.

No rules are quite clear, you do not even know the exact temps. Nothing is set at night, just leave the server and rejoin. But hint it will become darker here sooner than you think.
I am fine with editing the temps on the servers, i just dont want to change it daily. But it actually is not that far off 13 degress now. I dont know how it will look in 2 weeks, but feel free to tell me.
When race week comes, where you probably need to know the weather - the division servers are up with live weather, so that is identical to what you will see during the race. Yes you cant have a session from 13:00-19:00 unless you plan that very well, but you wouldnt be able to do that anywhere in real life either. The real road is NOT that scientific, you can make a decent setup with temps that is close to the real temps. Even though they are a few degress off.
PS weather is now set to 7 degress, as the current weather is.
 
Jimmi, when is there a working SPA practice livetiming. it's still on bahrain

Given I have not yet had time to actually check the actual update (Coutie might know more) i can't give you a 100% certain answer. Chance is there, but i do not think it will make it for Spa unless its a very good update from driver point of view.
Same goes for build - i have not been able to test results and there have not been done any endurance / result test and the update that is pending will re-write how results are being done. Just a heads up Spa race WILL 100% on 1.1333

I´ll let you know ASAP regarding tyre update.

Just to follow up on this, have been super busy today. I will review this tomorrow. only heard postive feedback on the changes so i´d say chances are good.
 
Hi, with the new update, you have to register with your email and name. My name is already in use in the system and I cannot use it. I have only been able to register by adding a 1 at the end of the last name.

Again we are not using the new build, so you can just go to previous and update your name. That wont be an issue. Until they change this (one of the reasons we can switch) we can't do much.
