VEC Race 5 - 6 hours of Road America

@Jimmi Allison you have added another lap to some of the gt3s. For example, #75 was 15 seconds behind #99, but now it's 100. Can you review? You're not on ts either so have to write here I suppose. Thanks.
 
I think it is based on lap when P1 on Hypercar cross.
If P1 of the race is loacted between you and the car front I think you have restart with slightly a lap done :(
 
In the name of all GOTeam drivers I want to say sorry to all those teams who got affected by our big mistake at the start. I know we ruined a lot of races and maybe even championship challenges today and there is no excuse for that. I know what it means and I feel terrible for it but that doesn't bring any consolation to you guys of course.

We try to do better from here on.
 
Hey everyone! I would like to apologise for every driver in Div 1 and the organisors aswell. I made an unacceptable mistake, thus ruining my of teams races and championships. At this moment I cannot say anything more how much I regret it, as I can't find my words. I don't want to find any excuses, however from my POV I saw the whole car of Remi Delorme in my mirror, so I thought I was ahead already, unfortunately this wasn't the case. I know how angry a lot of people are and wish for my death, so you can use the reaction button on this message to do so. Of course I take full responsibility, and happy to face the consequences of my action. Have a great race everyone!

I wonder what else needs to be done to trigger a code red!

All that hard work by so many riders and teams was for nothing after 100 meters.

Why Jimmi, or Why not?

yes, I know, the rules say nothing about it.

Riders want a competition and compete with each other and not have such big differences to complete the 6 hours.

I think more than half of the entire field would have wanted a red flag.
 
We had a tough race but we toughed it out to the end.
Or almost.
Exactly 3:59 secs from the end my screen froze, I heard crashing sounds, then RF2 CTD.
Every attempt to reconnect failed, until I realized Steam had started re-downloading the VEC mod for some reason so that was that.
So many years on this sim is full of surprises still.
We killed an LMP2, and our chances for a result midway through the race, I don't know which team/car was, I will be checking that tomorrow, been a tough week.
I apologize to them on behalf of our team, sorry guys:oops:
I guess the main theme is the Div 1 debacle at the start but I'll just leave that here, see you all on the next one.
