That GT was us, after watching the replay it looks like your driver tried to take a 2nd apex towards the exit while we were still there and turned into us probably expecting to have cleared us already. Would've easily been avoidable if he just kept the wide line or if our driver kept it tight, but the gt used it's normal racing line and this time there just wasn't enough room. Simply a racing incident with both parties to blame really.

We'll watch the official replay too. But yes, I think it was a very unfortunate incident. I also feel sorry to read it was your team again, as I remember you've had quite some incidents lately...

Is it only me, or it's super hard to see some cars when the sky is dark? I wouldn't be against making headlights mandatory at any moment, it would help us a lot! (Or force teams to have flashy liveries :D)View attachment 10546
Yeah no I am not going to make that mandatory and having to review and penalize when people don't do it. Way to much work. I get what you mean, but no - I can't do that.

I usually never post anything post race, but this time I feel like I have to.

It came to my attention that one of our drivers caused a severe accident in div2 at Sebring. I wasn't there on Saturday due to work commitments, so I found out about this yesterday.

No words will express how I feel and I already know we'll be severely penalised for that, which I'm absolutely fine with. I saw a clip and that was not a good look for my team, which is something really disappointing for me. I gave an opportunity to someone and I got let down - it can happen, but not at this extent. In the end, I take responsability for the lack of judgement that brought me to add him to our squad.

I just want to say sorry to the Race Clutch LMH for what happened. Things like this should never happen. Driver is getting removed from our lineup.

We had an episode in the last driver swap, I don't know if it's a known issue or it's something that never happened. So, I will writte down to prevent others from happening, or if it happens they can avoid a crash.

We had repairs due to prototype dive and in the last driver swap João forgot to remove repairs from the pitmenu, he pitted and the stop length was of 100sec, so in my monitor the game told me that in 100 sec I will have the control of the car. In order to skip repairs and not loose 30sec he skipped repairs at 70sec, but the control of the car was on him for 100. Already with a cigarette on his hand he had to drive the car out of the pits but as soon he get out I notice that in my game I will take the car in a few seconds, so I start making the same wheel moves of him and at turn6 below the bridge the car was on me, after the 100sec that rf2 told when he stopped for pitting.

So always check for repairs or if you skip it pay attention because the other driver will get the car after the countdown finish.

See you at Silverstone ;)

Diogo, I've had this as well once, so I can confirm this is a longer existing bug, if you cancel repairs the driver swap time won't adjust and car will be given over after the originally planned timer ends (so most likely while the car already drives again).

Maybe this question was asked already a few times, but I didn’t know what keyword to search for. So sorry if I repeat.
The question is what can a Team do if the actual driver looses internet (or pc explodes..). How can a Team Mate take over the car in the garage?

I could be wrong, but the last I heard was that the driver that loses connection or (PC explodes) has to re-enter the server and take control of the car and do at least 1 lap before can hand over. It is my understanding that if the original driver cannot re-enter the server, then it is game over for the Team. Have experienced this previously.

I stand to be corrected though.

You are correct. In rFactor 2 the driver that had the car (registered as the driver in the list), is the only one that can rejoin and get the car going again. It is how the code works.
So there is noway for the team to take over if this happens.
